I had the privilege of photographing this family while mama was pregnant with their second child (see my "And then there were FOUR" post).
I was then given the opportunity to capture some moments of the newborn they named Jonathan.
Not long after Jonathan was born, his family found out what no one ever wants to hear. Their brand new addition was sick.
Jonathan was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia; a serious liver disorder where the bile ducts become blocked.
Watching the situation unfold, I was able to again photograph this family right before they went up north to receive special treatment for Jonathan. Although he had grown so much since the last time I had photographed them, there still was something terribly wrong.
As they were headed to the best doctors in the world, this family never lost faith in the True Physician, Jesus Christ.
